It’s not really that velvety to me and I am 100% ok with that. They’re ultra pigmented, smooth, creamy and have great lasting power. (I still like to use a lip primer underneath to smooth/prep the lips like the MAC Prep and Prime Lip.)

Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Brow Wiz® Ultra-Slim Precision Brow Pencil is a cult classic with serious results. It features a super-fine retractable tip that creates hair-like strokes for a natural-looking finish, making this product ideal for filling in sparse spots and doing some damage control on over-tweezed areas. What does the palette swatch like? The Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette has similar packaging to the Modern Renaissance Palette in that it’s a cardboard style palette with a flocked texture on the front and back in a lovely camel colour which reflects the shades inside very well. The palette comes with a slim mirror within the lid as well as a double ended eyeshadow brush which is definitely one of the best brushes I’ve seen within a palette with one side being a rounded, fluffy blending brush and the other a denser, flatter brush for laying colour down on the lids.

Ok, I’m completely smitten by the brand’s new Nouveau Eyeshadow Palette. What’s great about this 12-shadowed bundle is just how much you’re getting. Each individual shadow is a smidge larger than its other palettes (which I appreciate), and you’re receiving the perfect mix of summertime, neutral and fall-ready colors. It’s absolutely worth the grab. Anastasia Beverly Hills products One of my favorite tips for creating Anastasia’s more sultry look is to use Make Up For Ever’s Smoky Lash Mascara to create a smoky eye. I would recommend to move away from taupes and use more light gray, charcoal shadow colors. You can also add a dark eyeliner on the inside of the eyes for added drama.
