O Cosmedics Mineral Pro SPF 30+

Mineral Pro is a hydrating and repairing sun defence product with SPF 30+. It is a sheer lightweight formula that is also available in a tint form. The tint comes in one shade and adapts to the skin tone of the individual, making it suitable for all skin tones. It also has reflective qualities which make the skin luminous and dewy, creating the appearance of hydrated healthy skin. It protects on a triple defence mechanism against all UV’s. It contains 20% natural zinc oxide to provide broad spectrum protection against skin damage and to aid in inflammation reduction and assist in skin healing and repairing. Due to the high concentrate of zinc, Mineral Pro has also beeen known to protect against cold sore virus breakouts and therefore can be applied daily over the lip area. Mineral Pro can and should be applied daily, at least 20 minutes prior to leaving the house.

Sun exposure is often mistaken for “sun baking” or spending excessive time outdoors, however just walking to the car and the exposure through your car windows while driving racks up thousands of hours of sun exposure per year, hence why your sunscreen must be applied before even leaving the house.

Age Defence SPF 50+:

Perfect for all skin types and conditions, Age defence is an advanced chemical and physical hybrid moisturising sunscreen. It protects against UVA and UVB sun damage, ensuring premature agaeing and skin damage is avoided. Age Defence is a light hydrating antioxidant cream and is suitable for post-dermal treatments. SPF 50+ boasts a sun defence coverage of 98%, but an SPF 30+ still reaches a high 96.7%. Although the SPF 50+ still reduces the chance of sun damage, precaution must still be taken in the sun. UVB rays are known as your “burning” rays and UVA rays are known as “ageing rays”, SPF 50+ offers fantastic protection and like all broad spectrum products must still be applied every 2 hours to achieve optimum protection. UVA rays are linked to deeper damage than UVB, and its recommended that an active SPF+ of no lower the 30+ but no higher than 50+ to prevent long term skin damage. Higher SPF’s than 50+ offer more protection against UVB’s but contain more chemicals, thats why Age Defence is the perfect sunblock for ultimate protection. Age Defence gets its name from its high protection against AVA’s, the “ageing rays”.
